Ashtanga Yoga

The Ashtanga yoga system focuses on coordination of movement with the breath using counted vinyasa to move through a set series of postures. Introduction to Ashtanga explores the first half of the primary series. The simple postures are appropriate to students who are brand new to yoga and ashtanga as well as seasoned practioners who want to slow down and explore the foundation of the practice. Students focus on the breath by moving through sun saluations and the standing postures which build strength and stamina. Seated postures through navasana create flexibility. Backbends and finishing postures are taught with modifications to make them appropriate for everyone.

Pranayama Yoga

A set of breathing exercises that help you breathe more efficiently and tone your nervous system. Literally translated it means - "becoming aware of the three cycles of breathing - inhalation, exhalation and pause. In this class you will learn several different traditional types of breathing techniques that will help you feel great!

Power Yoga

A more flowing vinyasa style yoga. Appropriate for all levels.

Vinyasa Flow

Vinyasa yoga is a flowing, natural sequence of postures (asanas) connecting each movement with unifying breath, bringing balance between ease and effortA more rigorous yoga practice that synchronizes breath and movement, helping students to strengthen their bodies and move beyond their limitations. This active stretching and strengthening is complemented with asanas that challenge us to deeply surrender.

Hatha Yoga

The word Hatha is a compound of the words Ha and Tha meaning sun and moon.  It is what most people think of when the think of yoga in general.

Hatha is what most people think of when they consider yoga. A meditative practice that slowly introduces students to basic asanas( postures) focusing on strength and alignment in addition to focus, balance and flexibility.

Kids Yoga Programs

Group Classes:

These 30 minute to 1 hour classes are specifically designed with children in mind (timing is based on age group).  Your child will grow confidence, build self-esteem, play and make new friends.  Through different strategies, activities and themes your child will increase their strength, balance and flexibility as well as energize their bodies and calm their minds.  

Private Classes:

These 30 minute-1 hour private yoga classes are designed for individuals, play groups, sports teams, groups of friends, girl scout troops as well as any other type of group.

Special Weekend Camp Days

These 2 1/2 hour sessions are sure to be a hit!!  The weekend camp days will be theme related, provide Yoga activities as well as a craft, and visualization relaxation exercise to wind down the fun.

Vinyasa Flow Yoga 

A more rigorous yoga practice that synchronizes breath and movement, helping students to strengthen their bodies and move beyond their limitations. This active stretching and strengthening is complemented with asanas that challenge us to deeply surrender.

Rates:

Yoga Sessions: (approximately 75 minutes long.)

  • Drop in $15.00 no commitment, come in as little or as much as you like
  • 10 class pass $100.00 ( 12 week expiration)

Private Yoga Sessions:

  • Individual sessions
    • 50 minute sessions / $50.00
    • 90 minute sessions / $80.00
    • NEW Student Introductory Package (60 minute private session & 2 regular mat sessions) / $70.00

  • Duet sessions (2 students - 1 Instructor)
    • 60 minute sessions / $85.00
    • 90 minute sessions / $105.00

  • Wear comfortable attire, however not to oversized so that we may observe body alignment.
  • Mat class fees can be used interchangeably for yoga and Pilates classes!
